Hvar, Croatia
One day in Croatia we took a boat to the other island, Hvar, and spent the day there. We started with a guided tour around downtown, had some lunch and then walked around by ourselves before the boat took us back to Bol. It's cool to visit Hvar, but I'm happy we stayed in Bol. Bol is a much calmer town, more "cosy" with beaches, little hotels, the marina and a nice beach walk with little shops. Hvar is more jetset, fancy with all the big yachts, not so many nice beaches (that we could find anyway). Like I said, it's nice to visit, but I'd rather stay in Bol again if I had to choose.
